Improve Alignment With Braces
Your first day in braces can be an uncomfortable one. Initially, they feel like they stick out, but once you’re used to them, the alignment improves and then the feeling goes away. Some patients will feel some discomfort and soreness over the next few hours following placement.

Take Care of Your Braces
When you have braces, sometimes food gets stuck in the braces. The only way to remove food is by brushing and flossing. If you don’t take care of it, the long term plaque can leave scars on the teeth’s surface.
We recommend you use a soft brush and avoid any hard foods like nuts, as well as crunchy foods. Over-the-counter pain medicines such as Tylenol and Advil can be used to alleviate soreness.
